FAQ
What is a giclée?
A giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) is a high-quality fine art print made using archival inks and papers. It captures the richness and detail of the original artwork with exceptional clarity and longevity.
What is your turnaround time?
Prints are made to order from my home studio. Please allow 5-7 business days for your order to ship. If you are concerned about timing, please feel free to reach out via my contact page and we can try to work together to fit your timeline. More information about our shipping policy can be found here.
Are prints shipped flat or rolled?
The print will be packaged on a cardboard backer, inside a clear sleeve, and packed flat in a rigid cardboard mailer. Prints larger than 11x14 may be rolled and shipped in a cardboard tube.
Do you offer international shipping?
We do not currently ship outside of the U.S.A.
Do you offer framing?
At this time, I do not offer in-house framing. I have tried to showcase a wide variety of framing ideas on my website and Instagram. If you are feeling unsure about framing, feel free to reach out via my contact page. I am more than happy to chat!
Do you accept returns?
Due to the made-to-order and often customized nature of the work, returns and/or exchanges are not permitted. However, customer satisfaction is a top priority and every effort will be made to ensure you're completely happy with your purchase. We are happy to replace orders that are damaged in shipping and work with you to ensure you love your art. Please see our full return policy here and reach out to breanna@irisandheirloom.com with any further questions.
Who owns the artwork after purchase?
When you purchase a piece (even a commissioned one), you’re buying the physical print — not the copyright.
